Glebe Gorillas is looking for a new President

Our departing president Kieran Murphy is leaving Australia and will be heading back to the UK. Kieran has done a phenomenal job running Glebe Gorillas F.C. over the last 3 years. We are looking for a President who is football minded and ensures the club promotes the participation and achievement of its teams. The President will work closely with the Vice-President, Treasurer, Events / Social Manager & Coaching Staff. This is a great opportunity to join the youngest and most successful club of NSW participating on the highest amateur level in the ESFA (Eastern Suburbs Football Association). Please reach out to glebe.gorillas@gmail.com for your application.

About the the club:

Founded in 2010, the Glebe Gorillas have been on a journey through the jungle. After a rocky start and some changes in management the Gorillas have picked up no less than 12 trophies in the last three seasons.

Since 2010 the Gorillas competed in the SAFL competition, and moved to the ESFA in 2017. The ESFA competition brought another level of competitiveness to the club, players and the managers as we finished 5th in the league table missing out the play-offs on 1 point. A big achievement for the club was finishing as runners-up in the NSW State Cup where over 250 teams participated in a regional state cup.

As a community organisation that is exclusively run by volunteers, we quite simply not exist without the commitment of our players, management, committee, sponsors and by no means our valued President. We hope you come on-board on our journey and help bring the Glebe Gorillas to the next level and continue the fantastic work done by our leaving president Kieran Murphy who is taking over a new role at our affiliate side London Gorillas.
